Air Fried Chicken Wings

Air fried chicken wings are incredibly easy and delicious! However, I can not say they are healthy, but hey, you win some, you lose some! These are great for a party, a cheat meal, or just because! You can make them any flavor you want! You can also choose a healthier route by using boneless, skinless thighs, or chicken breast instead of wings.

Ingredients:

4lbs Bone-in Whole Chicken Wings = 14 wings - all fit in my air fryer

Your favorite sauce, dry rub, or seasonings

3/4 stick butter - if using a dry rub

Temp: 400

Cook Time: 25-30 minutes

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 30-35 minutes

Directions: Place chicken wings on ends so that they are standing up. You will be able to get more in your air fryer at one time. Turn over and around at 10 and 20 minutes into cooking. After 20 minutes, keep an eye on the wings, and shake the basket every 2-3 minutes. Check the internal temperature at the thickest part of the wing, away from the bone to verify the inside is cooked to 165. Remove promptly.

While the wings are cooking, set up your seasoning station, you will need one container with a tight-fitting lid for each dry rub, butter, or sauce.

If using a dry rub or seasoning - coat first in butter by placing the wings in the container, making sure the lid is on securely, shake vigorously, so all sides are evenly coated, letting any excess butter drip off — transfer wings to the bowl of dry rub, secure lid, and repeat.

If using a sauce, you will not need to use butter. Transfer wings directly to bowl containing sauce, secure lid and shake well. Serve immediately.
