Waters Edge Winery

Based on several recommendations, we gave The Waters Edge a try.

It's a charming little urban winery and bistro located in The Rose District in downtown Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The service was excellent and very friendly.

Waters Edge offers several wine flights.

I chose a white, while my friend decided on a sangria flight.

She loved hers! So much so, she ordered a second with three new flavors.

But, unfortunately, I did not like my white flight. So, I let the server know and ordered something different, a limoncello, to be exact.

My only complaint is that the white flight was taken from the table, and I was still charged when it was clear that we had not consumed it. I do understand why I was still charged. However, that being the case, we would have kept it, and my friend and I would have finished it.

Other than that, it was an enjoyable and delicious experience! The atmosphere is quiet but fun. Great for a girls' night out, romantic dinner, a small party, or a quiet dinner among friends.

Our food was delicious! All the portions were very generous, and the prices were reasonable. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of everything as we got a little too excited chatting.

We started with the baked brie served with major grey chutney, toasted sourdough bread, and sliced apples. It was perfectly melted and paired well with the apples.

I ordered the turkey and ciabatta sandwich, which comes with oven-roasted turkey, bacon, herb mozzarella, pesto mayo, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a drizzle of balsamic dressing. The bread was perfectly toasted. However, it is a large sandwich! I could only eat half, which made me sad because it was so good! I chose french fries as my side item - they were cooked perfectly and crisp on the outside but tender on the inside.

My friend chose the Margherita flatbread for her entree. I did not try any, but I wish I had. It looked amazing! She said it was delicious!

We couldn't decide on dessert, so we did the logical thing and chose two!

We ordered the Beignets with Coconut Pineapple Ice Cream

and Dark Chocolate Cake.

The beignets were tasty; however, the star of the show was the coconut-pineapple ice cream! It was so refreshing and flavorful without being too sweet.

The chocolate cake was rich and intensely flavored. I could not eat much. However, my friend loved it!

We were happy with our visit, and both agreed we would return to explore more of the menu.

I have not personally used their services, but I understand they offer bottling parties and custom labels! How fun!
